Voiceover talent auditions for the reconstructed silent film, "Dr. Mabuse", will be held Saturday December 7, 2 PM, and Monday December 9, 7 PM, at 617 Franklin St. (FADA) Suite 4 in Michigan City. Sudden Productions, in conjunction with MiShinnah Productions, is supplying the sound track to Fritz Lang's monumental, classic silent film, "Dr. Mabuse, The Gambler". Typical recording sessions will be from one to four hours. A nominal stipend will be given. A variety of character voices are required for the recording sessions to start in early January. This thrilling film reflects the anxieties of decadent Berlin in Weimar, pre-Hitler German. Some characters include the evil Dr. Mabuse, a Follies starlet, a naive American playboy, an upright state prosecutor and a Russian Countess. Onstage acting experience is not required. Only the ability to create interesting character voices.
